Add constructs from your items
Open Items on the SEM Model tab and turn dataset columns into constructs. There are three ways.
Three ways:
Way 1
Select items, then drag
- 1On SEM Model, click Items in the rail.
- 2Click the first item, then Ctrl+click (or Shift+↑/↓) to add more.
- 3Drag the selection onto the canvas. A construct is created with those indicators.
Way 2
Click a suggested group
- 1In Items, look at Suggested constructs (items grouped by name stem).
- 2Click a chip such as SAT (3). The construct appears on the canvas at once.
- 3Create all adds every suggested group in one go.
Way 3
Search, then drag
- 1In Items, type into Search columns (for example loy).
- 2Select the matching items and drag them onto the canvas.
- 3Clear the search to see all remaining items again.
Good to know
- Double-click a construct to rename it. Items already used disappear from the list.
