Check sample size
Check whether your sample is large enough for the model you drew.
Two ways:
Way 1
Sample chip on the canvas
- 1On SEM Model, find the chip at the bottom of the canvas: a status badge (e.g. Adequate) and Sample.
- 2Click it. The bar shows the active rule, N=… · need ≥ … and Details.
- 3Click the rule to pick another one under Sample-size approach (the default is 10×); the badge updates.
- 4Click Details to open the full assessment.
Way 2
Sample size calculator
- 1Click Analyze in the rail, then Sample size (PLS / CB-SEM calculator), or Sample size in the Data toolbar.
- 2Pick an approach under Approaches (10× rule, Inverse square root, Minimum R², …) and read Recommended ≥ N; adjust Inputs such as Desired power.
