By creating an account or using SEMGate at https://semgate.net, you agree to use the service for legitimate research and analysis purposes.

The service

SEMGate provides survey tools and SEM estimation (including PLS-SEM and CB-SEM). Features may change as the product develops. Activation or subscription rules may apply to unlock SEM and Survey workspaces.

Subscriptions and billing

Paid access is sold as a recurring subscription in US dollars: $15 per month or $100 per year. Payments are processed by Stripe, which acts as our payment processor. Card details are entered on Stripe's systems and are never stored by SEMGate. Applicable VAT, GST or sales tax is calculated at checkout based on your location and shown before you confirm.

• Free trial. New accounts may start a 30-day free trial with no payment method required. Nothing is charged during the trial. One trial per account. To continue after the trial, a valid payment method must be added before it ends (or via checkout after access lapses).
• Renewal. Unless cancelled, the subscription renews automatically at the end of each billing period at the then-current price, starting with the first charge at the end of the trial.
• Cancellation. You can cancel at any time from the billing portal linked on your account page. Cancelling stops future charges; access continues until the end of the period you have already paid for. Cancelling during the trial avoids any charge.
• Refunds. Because the trial lets you evaluate the full workspace before paying, charges are generally non-refundable. If you were billed in error or cancelled and were charged anyway, contact us within 14 days of the charge and we will refund it.
• Failed payments. If a payment fails, Stripe retries it over the following days and your access continues for a short grace period. If it still cannot be collected, access is suspended until the payment method is updated.
• Price changes. We will give at least 30 days' notice by email before any price increase affecting your renewal, and you may cancel before it takes effect.
• Activation codes. Codes issued to verification experts and institutional partners grant access for a fixed term at no charge and are separate from subscriptions. They are non-transferable and hold no cash value.

Your responsibilities

• Provide accurate account information and keep credentials confidential.
• Do not attempt to abuse, scrape, or disrupt the service.
• Ensure you have rights to upload and analyse any datasets or survey content you submit.
• Review statistical outputs before publication; you remain responsible for research claims.

Official sign-in

The only official SEMGate sign-in and registration pages are hosted on semgate.net. Do not enter your password on any other domain claiming to be SEMGate.
